This piece has a special meaning to me… because it’s a gift to my honey & his family in memory of a beloved family member named Sam. So it was important to get his facial expression and details right, which can be a challenge, but I’m very glad they like the result. I’m grateful for the inspiration and the opportunity to make such a personal gift.
